The Sympatex® Vitoria F2F Spring AS (L000296) is not a coating or a treatment. It is a three-layer composite — face, membrane, and backer — bonded at the mill into a single integrated construction. No separate lining. No DWR chemistry. No PFAS.

Structured warp-knit ripstop weave. Fluorine-free DWR applied at the mill. The grid construction arrests tear propagation — if the fabric snags, the rip stops at the next grid intersection.

100% PES · Compact · PFC-free by design
A continuous hydrophilic polymer membrane — no micropores. Water cannot pass through because the molecular structure physically blocks it. Moisture vapor escapes via a chemical absorption and release process. No pores means nothing to clog — performance does not degrade over time or wash cycles.

20D knit backer
100% Recycled PES · Ultra-fine 20D/20D
A warp 20D / weft 20D knitted fabric bonded directly to the membrane interior. At 20 denier — finer than a human hair — this layer adds virtually no weight while completely eliminating the tacky membrane feel against skin. No separate lining required.

The industry minimum for a garment to be called waterproof is 1,500mm. The RoamCoat hits 20,000mm — 13× the minimum. Maintained after 5 machine wash cycles at 40°C. This is not a treatment that wears off.

The Sympatex® membrane repels water at a molecular level — not by a coating that degrades over time. 20,000mm performance is maintained after 5 wash cycles. This is structural, not cosmetic.

No pores means no clogging. The hydrophilic membrane evacuates moisture vapor continuously via chemical absorption and release. Your effort leaves the jacket. The rain does not come in.
